Organization Culture and Rewards are the two leading forces of human behavior in any organization. They can help drive employee behavior and performance toward greater organization effectiveness and bottom line results, or they can create an expensive detour from which it becomes difficult to recover. When culture, performance objectives, and/or rewards (e.g., base pay, merit, incentive compensation) conflict with where an organization wants to go, everyone feels it - including customers. Bottlenecks occur. Communications break down. Politics flare.
Yet when the people, the culture, and the rewards are aligned to move the business forward, that is the point at which organization effectiveness increases, the capacity for agility develops, and people are empowered to do their best work. This is my mission, and what I like to call:
